  1. mattytrog replied to the thread WIP Modchip Software: Simple-UF2 with SWITCHBOOT. Save fuses without AutoRCM.

A good layer of kapton all around the chip. Wrap it round the board as flux will remove the stickiness. When lifting chip off, be careful not to touch the resistors as they are super brittle and blow-away-tastic. The caps are a bit tougher and...

Not really. Anything physical deteriorates over time. Modern money is fundamentally different because it's fungible, fiat, and exchangeable to full restoration of its face value indefinitely. One could argue usury is necessary because of...

The 4GB limit is imposed by MTP. The used PTP containers are 32 bit sized, hence the limit.

Any idea how to take the chip off? (Green circle shows the new chip, Red the plastic I'm worried about using my heat gun) I have heat resistant tape, but I don't think it will protect the plastic, should I cover it with a coin or something...

  10. Inaurata_Sharps liked lordelan's post in the thread Dragon Ball Action RPG being teased for reveal soon.

By Action RPG I guess they mean something like One Piece World Seeker (with RPG elements) although I hope it's a Diablo clone with a Dragon Ball skin. That would be amazing. (still waiting for a Diablo-like game in the Star Wars universe)

  15. mYemc liked Dust2dust's post in the thread Question After restoring rawnand, boot0 & boot1, Switch didn't turn on, no charging, no payload, nothing.

So putting your switch into RCM and injecting a payload doesn't work? It should, normally, unless I'm missing something obvious. Then, in theory, you would boot your 2.1 with hekate, update again to 6.2, and you're back to normal.
